Police in Milton Keynes have issued CCTV images of a man who might have vital information regarding an assault in Netherfield.
At 3.30pm on Monday (May 11) a man entered a Co-op store in Farthing Grove and attempted to steal a bottle of wine.
A member of staff challenged him, and managed to retain the bottle of wine. However as he left the store, the offender spat towards a security guard, a man aged in his thirties.
Officers are now releasing the following CCTV images of a man who may have vital information regarding this incident.
Investigating officer, PC Stuart Folwell said: “This was a distressing experience for the security guard who was spat at.

“Luckily there were no injuries during this incident, however we believe that the man pictured may have vital information relating to this, and we would wish to speak with him.
“If anyone recognises him, or has information on the incident, please contact Thames Valley Police.
