WHEELY GREAT NEWS FROM STANTONBURY LEISURE CENTRE

The Big Lottery - Awards for All - have awarded Stantonbury Leisure Centre more than seven thousands pounds to develop inclusive sports here in the new city. The money will be spent on 10 sports wheelchairs and the development of Wheelchair Basketball and other wheelchair-based sports at Stantonbury. The chairs - from Motivation Sport - will enable sports including tennis, basketball, table tennis, archery and fencing to be played. Everyone is welcome to visit the centre and have a go - the first session is happening on September 3 at 7.30pm and both experienced and inexperienced  are welcome along.
