A group of young Muslims visited the children's ward of the hospital recently, delivering toys, chocolates, sweets and greeting cards to the children.
Saeed Nazir, The local youth leader for Milton Keynes says: "Our desire to visit the hospital is derived from our faith, which teaches us to respect and care for the sick.
"Islam emphasises kindness towards those in need and we wish to instil this within our youth through practicing our teachings.
“As a result of this we chose to spend time with these wonderful children and we greatly enjoyed visiting them and the youngsters felt a sense of fulfilment."
AMYA is looking to serve the locals across Milton Keynes in the upcoming few weeks and will be visiting the homeless, elderly in the care homes and children in care.
