Young British Muslims have been raising thousands of pounds - collecting for the Poppy Appeal at Westcroft Morrison Milton Keynes over the past three weekends.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) members have been working with the Royal British Legion for more than a decade and have raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for them through the Poppy Appeal.
"We are again delighted and proud to support the Poppy Appeal which provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served or who are currently serving in the British Armed Forces, and their dependents," said Regional President of AMYA UK, Saeed Nazir.

"As Muslims living in the country it is our duty to honour those who risk life and limb for the protection of all British citizens."
Since October, hundreds of young Muslims belonging to the AMYA have been collecting in high streets and supermarkets around the UK. During 2014 the youth were also actively involved in the Tower of London Poppy installation.
Other activities include blood drives, elderly home visits, food drives for the homeless, charity events, environmental initiatives, peace conferences and interfaith meetings.
The AMYA is the UK’s largest organised Muslim youth organisation and the leading Muslim youth group challenging extremism in the UK.
