Chris Jenkins will see out 2016 and welcome in the new year in the new city, starring as Dick Whittington in Milton Keynes Theatre's lavish pantomime.
But when he's not raising the smiles along with Stacey Solomon and Kev Orkian, how will he spend Christmas Day? And where do Wallace and Gromit fit into his plans?
The present you hope will be under your Christmas tree on December 25th
I love animals and I love technology, so I'd be over the moon with an Apple Watch or an encounter with an otter!
How you'll spend Christmas Day
I'll be spending it with my partner and our beagle, Georgie. I think we'll break with tradition and make a beef wellington! Then we'll go for a walk in the country.
The essential Christmas programmes that you'll definitely be watching...
I don't think I have a big tradition of Christmas programmes. Although, saying that, if Wallace and Gromit is on, I'll be definitely watch that.
Your favourite Christmas carol - and why
I do love Silent Night, especially if it's got loads of beautiful harmonies, there's something melancholic but hopefully about it. You must do yourself a favour though, search David Phelps O Holy Night on YouTube - you'll thank me!
Christmas pudding: A must-do, or a must avoid?!
An absolute MUST. If it weren't uncouth, I'd eat it all year round. No brandy sauce for me though; custard, lashings of it. My dad always used to say that there was a pound coin in it and if we had it in our portion we could keep it, somehow he'd always discover it in a mouthful of his. Did anyone else's parents do that?
And if people have yet to snap up a ticket for Dick Whittington, tell them why they should!
What a wonderful time of year to spend with the family and nothing gets you more in the spirit for Christmas than panto! Come and watch the children's faces light up with magic as our wonderful cast enthral them with an unforgettable experience which will have them sparking their imaginations through into 2017!
