New MK Youth Dance platform Jump Start is all about celebrating the energy and vitality of young dancers in and around the place we call home, as well as further afield.
The platform is being run in partnership by dance organisations Mótus and Initiate Youth Dance Company – Mótus are the bods responsible for some fantastic dance events that have coloured up the town in recent years, of course.
Jump Start is the first of their youth dance platforms, and your opportunity to see the fruits of their creativity comes this Saturday (Jan 30) at The Venue in Walton Tree.
“We're really excited about this new platform. Not only have we received the branding and support of Youth Dance England, but we're delighted to be bringing together over 100 young talented people, and really putting Milton Keynes on the map in terms of youth dance," said producer Chris Bradley.
“The Venue is an excellent theatre and will really help to give the young people a taste of professional dance life!”
The show is a part of U. Dance, the Youth Dance England program and will also feature Urban Strides and Anjali Youth.
