Milton Keynes Theatre’s Creative Learning Department are re-launching their Youth Theatre offer this autumn to accommodate a full programme of performance training.
In September 2019, MKT Youth Theatre will re-launch with a new schedule, new teachers and new offers for young people aged 3 – 18 years.
As well as expanding drama classes to include a session for pre-school and reception aged children, the theatre will now be offering dance, singing and LAMDA classes for young people in the area.
This full programme of training can be tailored to each individual, with discounts now being offered for siblings and for booking more than one session.
The dance class will offer a variety of styles each year and is aimed at young people with a wide range of abilities and experience. This and the singing class will compliment both youth theatre and LAMDA, helping develop the skills required to be an all-round performer.
MKT Youth Theatre maintain that their ethos is focused on young people having the opportunity to explore their creativity, develop both their practical and social skills and meet new people, all within a safe and inclusive environment.
Creative Learning at Milton Keynes Theatre aims to deliver a varied programme of theatrical events, projects, workshops and classes for all ages in our local community. From weekly classes, to show inspired workshops, events for schools plus our popular school holiday projects, we create experiences for everyone!
