Milton Keynes Theatre has unveiled another season of sunshine for stage lovers, with a suitably packed programme to see us through the winter months and into the spring.
Obviously Total MK will bring you full details in due course, but here's a heads up about the fun set to follow...
It started on Friday, and MK Theatre is now wrapped in a sparkly parade of glitter and good stuff with the annual pantomime.
Aladdin – starring Wayne Sleep, Ben Adams, Kev Orkian and the gorgeous Priscilla Presley – is showing through to January 10. Then, when the tinsel is swept away for another year, the venue welcomes one-nighters by cockney ace Joe Brown (below, Jan 13), Vampire Rock with their rock-a-thon The Ghost Train (Jan 14) and ABBA Mania whose faithful recreation of the Swedish pop aces will make Dancing Queens of us all...
A cast predominantly comprised of former principals from Les Miserables will sing you through a two-hour show of West End and Broadway musical marvels, with the show Beyond the Barricade (Jan 16).
Jethro brings his Forty Years the Joker tour to town on January 20, to beguile and befuddle his fans with more irreverent twaddle, and former Ace, Squeeze and Mike & the Mechanics man Paul Carrack lets his voice loose on January 21.
At the end of the month, (Jan 26-30), Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty (below) comes with added fairies, magic, love and romance.
Let Bourne's brilliance take you from the halcyon days of the late Edwardian era to the modern day.
From the beautiful to the bold and lairy, with Priscilla Queen of the Desert back in town (Feb 1-6) starring Jason Donovan.
Based on the story by David Walliams, Gangsta Granny (Feb 9-13) is guaranteed Half Term fun for all: 'Up until now, Staying with Granny has only meant one thing; cabbage soup, cabbage pie and cabbage cake and Ben knows one thing for sure – It's going to be sooooooooooooo boring!'
Except that Granny has a secret, and things are going to be anything but boring...
Stuff the roses and kiss goodbye to the romantic meal for two – take your other half to the theatre on Valentine's Day, for a night in the company of Katherine Ryan.
Razor-sharp Ryan arrives following a complete sell-out UK tour, and this date will go the same way.
Speaking of full houses, that'll be the situation when Derren Brown, master of psychological illusion returns (Feb 15-20) with his most provocative show to date, Miracle.
Tickets are already selling well for Strictly star Anton Du Beke (below) and his professional partner Erin.
Together they'll bring fancy footwork to the timeless music of the golden age on February 21.
An Inspector Calls (Feb 23-27) will thrill in every sense of the word with its imaginative staging, raw emotion, evocative score, lashing rain and chilling suspense.
Much examining of our own consciences comes from J.B.Priestley's classic work.
We're in March already, and opening the month is Goodnight Mister Tom.
During the dangerous build up to the Second World War, young William Beech is evacuated to the idyllic English countryside and forges a remarkable and heart-warming friendship with the elderly recluse, Tom Oakley.
If you've seen the film starring John Thaw, you'll be thrilled to learn that the stage version succeeds in being every bit as engrossing, and emotive.
Martin Shaw (The Professionals/Judge John Deed) treads the boards in Hobson's Choice prior to its West End transfer.
The classic comedy is celebrating its centenary in 2016, but appeals as much to today's audience as it did when it was first unleashed.
Catch it between March 7 and 12.
Murder, greed, corruption, exploitation, adultery and treachery is on the cards with Chicago (above, March 14-19). Razzle dazzle indeed...
One nighters return with The ELO Experience (March 22), cockney-raves Chas & Dave (March 23) and Tell Me On A Sunday (March 24) before another Strictly star, Brendan Cole this time, gives you A Night to Remember on March 25.
Enjoy A Vision of Elvis (March 26), and The Carpenter's Story (Mar 27) before the Welsh National Opera make their annual visit with a trio of works; Barber of Seville, The Marriage of Figaro and Figaro Gets a Divorce.
There's something for all in there, and some shows are already seeing tickets stripped from the box office.
Don't delay and tempt disappointment. Book right away.
