Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of Total MK's favourite things.
Mind you, we aren't half partial to a cracking musical too, and MK Theatre has got one of the best on its stage this week coming.
The Sound of Music tells the true story of novice Nun Maria, the latest in a long line of governesses sent to 'manage' the Von Trapp family children - remember Liesl, Gretl, Brigitta, Kurt, Friedrich, Marta and Louisa?
Except that the children 'don't need a governess' and do their best to drive Maria away.
But this feisty lady wins them over - being both a mother figure and a friend to her new brood.
Eventually, she works her magic on the children's father too, and Captain Von Trapp takes her as his bride.
But with war looming and the Nazi party on the rise in Germany, life in their beloved Austria is about to change forever - the country is the brink of being swallowed up by The Third Reich.
The Sound of Music details the story, and their search for family happiness, and it does so with the most glorious of scores - Do-Re-Mi, My Favourite Things and So Long, Farewell all feature.
And not forgetting the beautifully delicate Edelweiss, and the title song, of course.
Stepping into the role of Maria von Trapp in this new production is winner of the BBC television show Over the Rainbow, Danielle Hope.
Olivier-award nominee Steven Houghton will return to the MK stage to play the Captain.
The Sound of Music begins a two-week stay at the theatre from Tuesday (May 26) and continues through to Saturday, June 6.
Performances are 7.30pm nightly, with matinees on Wednesday and Saturday at 2.30pm.
