All rise for a pop player from one of this country's biggest boy bands this week, when Antony Costa arrives at MK Theatre.
The Blue boy stage steps without his sidekicks Simon, Lee and Duncan when he stars in the return of Save the Last Dance for Me, which arrives on Monday (May 23).
The work is from the combined pen of Marks and Gran whose pedigree form also numbers Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather and The New Statesman, and it's a nostalgic, feel-good journey that will take you back to music's golden era.
Immerse yourselves in music by Doc Pomus & Mort Shuman, and famous numbers like Sweets for My Sweet, Please Mr Postman, Viva Las Vegas and Can't Get Used to Losing You.
But of course, there's an all important storyline too.
Save the Last Dance for Me follows two teenager sisters through the summer of '63 as they head off, for the first time without their parents, on a holiday to the seaside.
Full of freedom and high spirits they meet a handsome young American who invites them to dance at the local U.S. Air force base.
But young love and holiday romance is never as simple as it sounds, and the siblings soon realise that while the world around them is still watching itself in black and white, life and love can be much more colourful!
Also lending her talent to the show is the vocally smart Lola Saunders. It's a taut bill, so come on - get involved!
