THEATRE FOR KIDS: ROSIE'S MAGIC HORSE STICKERINO GALLOPS IN

A heart-warming tale of aspiration, friendship, adventure and a whole lot of fun will win smiles aplenty at Stantonbury Theatre this Saturday afternoon (September 26).

The adaptation of Russell Hoban's book Rosie's Magic Horse is a perfect treat for little mites aged between three and eight years.

Little Rosie collects ice-lolly sticks and puts them in an old cigar box. As Rosie dreams of helping her parents pay off the bills her stick collection dreams of becoming something greater.

And so, at the stroke of midnight, magic and dreams collide and a horse gallops out of the cigar box!

His name is Stickerino. “Where to?” he asks of Rosie, who wants to go anywhere with treasure!

And so begins an adventure of ice-lolly mountains by the sea, caskets of gold and scurvy pirates.

Rosie's Magic Horse clocks in at around 50 minutes in length, so there is no need for 'fidget-itis' to set in!

It's a great family friendly show, and yours to enjoy from 2.30pm.

Tickets are £9.50 with concessions and family ticketing available.
