From Ping Pong Pongathon to breath-taking upbeat Burlesque; the new Electric Social MK brings a new spark of life to Milton Keynes.
The Theatre District’s popular MK Social has revealed its new name, Electric Social MK, which will form part of the hugely successful Interguide Group, which also has bars and restaurants in Mayfair, South East London and Southend.
“Electric Social MK brings a fresh new venue with more entertainment, an even better food offering, an envious variety of drinks in a vibrant atmosphere,” says Marketing Manager Gillian Watson.
Electric Social MK sees changes to the bar team – fresh from training in creating 20 new seasonal cocktails - a new executive kitchen team, and a new menu, which will launch in the New Year; plus a vast weekly entertainment schedule.
Customers can expect cabaret on select nights, live bands, guest DJs and even speed dating; plus in 2016, the team are looking to bring in karaoke, movie nights and a new concept of Pongathon where corporate companies play ping pong tournaments over a beer!
Gillian adds: “Each night of the week we will be showcasing a variety of entertainment and events for local people to enjoy. Whether you want to enjoy a drink with friends or relax with a pre-theatre meal, Electric Social has the ingredients for a great night out.”
The kitchen at Electric Social is one of its key features, promising to deliver not just good food but exceptional food every time.
New chef, Joshua Welling, is proud of the high-quality choice of homemade dishes that will be on offer; each one has been designed to deliver on taste using seasonal produce. Joshua says: “We have been working for months to create a new menu, we want something that will wow customers and help launch Electric Social in Milton Keynes. We are keeping our popular dishes but introducing new ones and we are so excited for our customers to try them - but they will have to wait for the big reveal in early 2016!”
Right now the venue is hosting Christmas parties and festive fun, and and has just launched a New Year’s Eve party package for people looking to celebrate in style.
“We’re so happy to be open for Christmas and we’ll be seeing in the New Year with a bang!” Gillian promised.
