You are invited to join the party as Bradwell Silver Band hosts its annual Spring Concert and Awards presentations at St James Church in New Bradwell on Saturday (April 22).
Once again the band will perform from a range of musical genre including pop, classical and musical theatre under the baton of Musical Director Brian Keech.
Soloists will entertain and individual sections will delight throughout the evening.
The Tuba section performing ‘I Was Born Under a Wandering Star’ is a performance not to be missed!
Now a tradition, the Development Band will open the second half with a selection of new music to demonstrate their progress.
The Development Band has recently welcomed five new players and can now boast a membership of more than 30 players of all ages.
All instruments and tuition are still provided by the Band free of charge.
The spring concert gives the Band members the opportunity to celebrate and recognise the commitment and dedication of its players and supporters.
There are five awards including a new award first presented last year to a player in the Development Band who has shown outstanding work ethic and commitment.
Tickets are £7 and can be purchased on the door - showtime is 7.30pm
The band also offers a Patron package which gives member benefits and the chance to attend open rehearsals and special events.
The Celebration Brass concert kicks off a busy 2017 engagement list highlighted by a performance for the Chelsea Pensioners at The Royal Hospital Chelsea and an amazing Breast Cancer awareness benefit concert with Boobs and Brass.
