Petrol heads, speed freaks and adrenaline junkies are invited to Milton Keynes’ premier indoor karting track Formula Fast next Sunday (August 2), for the first ever Formula Fast Festival.
The action-packed day – to celebrate its second birthday - has everything for fast-paced summer holiday fun, with special offers on karting sessions, multiplayer driving simulators and outdoor games.
On the festival day itself, Formula Fast is offering 20 minute karting sessions for a discounted rate of £20.
Get the need for speed and race around the 500 metre track at up to 50mph, screeching around the 12 technical corners to get your name on the top of the leaderboard!
Singer-songwriter Bailey McConnell has already been down to the track and set a lap time of 34.898 seconds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct-0n_da9rI - tweet your time with the hashtag #BeatBailey and tag @BaileyMac02 and @FormulaFast!
The team have also partnered with SimplyRace to provide amazing multiplayer driving simulators free of charge.
Racers can experience world famous tracks with three panoramic screens for a fully immersive experience.
Choose from vehicles including a Lamborghini Gallardo or Formula One racing car, and feel the bumps of the track and the rumble of the engine with a high tech force feedback steering wheel.
“We are very excited about the Formula Fast Festival," said co-owner Phil Stanley.
"We’re marking our second year in MK and want lots of people to enjoy the celebrations, so whether you are a seasoned fan or just want a day out with a difference, come down and see what the buzz is all about.
"It’s set to be a great event for all the family.”
The Formula Fast Festival is free for spectators, however booking is recommended for karting as limited spaces are available. 'Karters' must be at least eight years old and drivers must be over 125cm tall.
