Whitespace Yoga & Wellbeing Studio have partnered with Conscious Living MK to help clean up Milton Keynes with a community litter pick at Willen Lake.
The litter pick - on Sunday, August 4 from 1:30pm -3pm - is a great opportunity for the community to come together with friends, or to meet like-minded people in MK.
The event is open to anyone who wants to join the team to help tackle the littering around Willen Lake which is contributing to the plastic pollution and affecting the environment.
At 1.30pm, Whitespace Studio and Conscious Living MK will meet at the Tree Cathedral at Willen Lake and will begin with a short guided meditation to get everyone in a great, collective mindset. The group will then follow the path around the lake, taking in the views whilst de-littering the grounds.
Deborah Berryman, Yoga Teacher and founder of Whitespace Studio comments: “Reducing your everyday plastic use is a great way to help the environment but sadly, we can’t reduce plastic use for the entire population. So we’ve teamed up with Coscious Living to host a litter pick – which is a brilliant way to encourage the community to make a contribution to improving our environment. We welcome anyone to join us on the 4th of August and help towards making a healthier, happier planet.”
