Wrap up nice and toasty, pull family and friends together and go indulge in some festive fun as Olney once again turns on the sparkle for its annual Dickens of a Christmas event on Sunday (December 9).
Christmas market stalls (with Dickensian attired stallholders) will sell you everything from trees to gifts, and you can indulge in a glass or two of mulled wine, or nibble on hot chestnuts as you go.
The hugely popular event is free, but parking can prove a problem - make use of the parks and ride scheme in operation.
A Dickens of a Christmas will run between 10.30am and 4.30pm, and the Cowper & Newton Museum will be marking the occasion too, serving delicious hot chocolate, tea and coffee all day in the Courtyard- warm up those hands!
David Pibworth's magic show will also run at 12pm, 2pm and 3pm in the Courtyard.
Have fun!
