It might not have been the hottest day of the year, but just you try telling that to the visitors who flocked to the first day of business at the 2015 Chilli Festival at Frosts Garden Centre.
Chilli beer, chilli chocolate, chilli cup-cakes, chilli cheese...the Woburn Sands emporium was full of colourful bursts and fiery flavours today (Saturday).
The sixth annual event – running daily through to Monday – doesn't just cater for the hardened chilli fiend, mind you.
Whether mild, hot or spicy, your palate will be well and truly tickled.
Among the many exhibitors, Total MK was impressed by the 'saucy' Grim Reaper range and our pals from the Concrete Cow Brewery - on site with their special edition Chilli Beer brewed just for the festival.
Off the beer? The Pimento Original is for you then, an absolute taste sensation blending ginger, tonic and chilli pepper. Yum.

Daily, salsa dancing sessions and live music will entertain, and – for the bravest among you – a chilli eating competition invites you to step up, chew and keep your cool.
There were more than a few hats on heads too, but forget those baseball caps and trilby's, the only headgear to be seen in is a suitably grand sombrero, of course!
No visit would be complete without taking home a plant or two, to keep the heat a-coming after the event – and this bash boasts one of the largest selections of chilli plants in the UK.
Pack up your brood, head to Woburn Sands and enjoy the fun – it's guaranteed to put a little bit of fire in your belly this Bank Holiday weekend!
Parking at the event is free, and admission is £3 (Under 16s and Gardening Club members go free).
