Milton Keynes Model Railway Society (MKMRS) are holding an open day this Saturday (July 23).
Five of the club’s layouts will be in operation, with all the major modelling scales on display and members will be on hand to talk about the hobby, answer any questions and discuss the benefits of membership.
Admission is free and the kettle will be on, say organisers.
“We know railway modelling is a popular hobby as we welcome around 3,000 visitors each year to our annual February exhibition. This is your chance to see behind the scenery. We are a friendly group and always welcome new members so please come along for a look round and to think about joining us," said MKMRS Secretary Ian Bartlett.
There is ample free parking available outside the club’s premises (1 North House, Bond Avenue, Bletchley, MK1 1sW) and the event will run between 11am and 4pm.
