Shakespeare may have died four hundred years ago but the Bard's words are never far away. You'll hear them at Westbury Arts Centre during the Heritage Open Days this weekend (September 10 & 11).
Professional and amateur actors from in and around Milton Keynes will be strutting their stuff on the lawns of the 17th Century house. It's the perfect setting for his words, which will be delivered with the necessary passion too!
Audiences will be treated to snippets from some of the Bard's best-known comedies, tragedies and histories, completely free of charge.
Other attractions at Westbury will include open studios, an international graduate art exhibition, a guided heritage trail and afternoon teas.
In short, you have all the makings of an ideal family day out.
Westbury will be open to the public at 11am; visitors can bring their lunch to picnic on the lawn, wander around the house and grounds and enjoy an hour of Shakespeare performances starting at 3pm.
To be (there), or not to be (there). There really is no question!
Punch in MK5 6AA on the Sat-Nav and you'll arrive safely.
