From being on stage to creating a flock of paper doves or being part of a catwalk show – this year’s IF: Milton Keynes International Festival is offering plenty of ways to get creative and get involved…
"This year’s Festival is a fantastic platform for community connection, and our participatory events really embody that spirit," said the Festival’s Creative Producer Rae Lee, "From exploring identity through the clothes people wear to sharing passions at our Cabaret of Ideas, we can't wait to see the incredible things people will create and discover together."
Here's how you can take part...
Who’s In Your Wardrobe?
Dutch theatre company Zwermers Pictured) are inviting members of the local community to take part in Who's In Your Wardrobe?, a series of workshops that will lead to two community performances of Pan~//Catwalk at Unity Place on Saturday, July 19.
The workshops and performances dive into the question of what identity means to you and how your clothing choices relate to it. Every day, we're observed and interpreted by others. Zwermers playfully challenges this human instinct, offering a fun and engaging way to explore these ideas.
