Just like Huey Lewis sang back in the eighties, it's hip to be square - and events happening in Milton Keynes this month prove it.
Artists Avant-Gardening and Lisa Cheung will be asking what you can do with a square or two, or fifty within artist Walter Jack’s installation of Fallen Oak (Pass the Parcel).
From cushions to dens, spaces to relax or places to play, the possibilities are endless - just take your imagination along and go enjoy the fun.
Here’s what’s ahead at the Green Space of Fallen Oak at Broughton (MK10 7AA):
Mini Golf Tournament (Saturday, August 11, 2-4pm)
Fore! Play the square con this DIY mini golf course - tear up the rule book and take the challenge
Print Workshop (Friday, August 17, 2-4pm)
Every square tells a story. Your story. Using a variety of printing techniques participants can personalise the squares to tell the story of the #EndlessSquare
Tea Party (Thursday, August 23, 2-4pm)
Grab a square and settle down for an afternoon of refreshments, art, performance and great company.
All events are free, and open to all.
