Chris Ward will be in action again on Saturday (January 19) leading a walk around Linford Lakes Nature Reserve.
It is one of Milton Keynes’ best reserves, managed by The Parks Trust and a great Friends Group. Normally a ‘permit’ site but free for the group on this occasion.
With lakes, wet woodland and four hides, there is always a good range of birds and the possibility of Marsh Tit.
Paths can be difficult for wheelchairs at this time of year.
Meet in the car park by leaving Newport Road on the north side opposite the entrance to The Black Horse pub.
Fork left after 50m and follow the track reaching the car park after a third of a mile. SP 843 429 MK14 5AH.
