Make half term fun - spend it at Milton Keynes Museum

They work hard during term time, so it's only fair that children get lots of time to enjoy themselves in the holidays – and they will find no better place to do so this half term, than at Milton Keynes Museum.

Extraordinary science experiments will wow, with the emphasis placed firmly on the fun factor, after all, school is out for the week!

There will be lots of children's crafts to get involved with too, ensuring creative little minds are kept busy.

Half term week at the museum (running February 13-17) boasts something for everyone.

From sending morse code, to making and then enjoying hot buttered toast over the range in the traditional farmhouse kitchen.
Or how about dialling delight in the fun Connected Earth Gallery?

You can step back in time with a walk through the street of shops, or enjoy a school lesson the way things used to be in the Victorian school room. Without the cane, obviously!

Young motoring enthusiasts will love the Hall of Transport, and you must investigate the Nature Trail. What will you discover?
Before the television took attentions, parlour games were the entertainment choice.

The museum's hands-on policy will let you show off your skills on the pianola, which makes anyone sound like a genius.

Come rain or come shine, Milton Keynes Museum has plenty to entertain young and old, and when you feel a bit peckish, the Granary Cafe will banish hunger pangs with affordable snacks and delicious home made cakes aplenty.

Standard admission prices apply – which will also give you FREE entry for the following 12 months when Gift Aid is given; adults £9, child £6, retired & unwaged £7.
A family ticket (admitting two adults and up to four children) is £26.
