Manfords Comedy Club enjoys its monthly session at The Craufurd Arms this Thursday night (March 26).
This time around your smile inducers are Paul McCaffrey, Jessica Fortesque and Dave Hadingham, with MC Dan Nightingale.
Jason Manford set these club nights up to give a platform to rising talents on the comedy circuit, and there are now more than 20 operating around the country.
And if you think the quality will be somehow lacking in the new breed, you couldn't be more wrong, as Jason told Total MK: "I always say that over 20 minutes the guys and girls you will see at your local comedy club will give you as many laughs as any comedian on the telly - myself, McIntyre and Peter Kay included...they are honing this stuff every night," he explained.
Proving the point, Paul McCaffrey holds best 'New Act' competition gongs from both The London Paper and the Latitude Festival.
Since bagging those he has gone on to work with Russell Kane, been the studio warm-up for That Sunday Night Show and turned frowns upside down far and wide.
Doors open at 7pm, the show starts at 7.30pm.
