Following the government’s instruction to close gyms and leisure facilities in light of COVID-19, Sweat Studios have launched live streamed, virtual yoga and pilates classes while their Milton Keynes studio is closed.
With at-home exercise encouraged to keep both the body and mind healthy during this time of social distancing, self-isolation and quarantine – those at home are now able to roll out their yoga mat or towel in the comfort of their own living room to enjoy over 15 live-streamed classes each week.
There are a range of classes to suit every mood and requirement, whether you're looking to workout, stretch-out or chill-out. Classes include Classic, Mix, Flow, and Move and Stretch.
In addition to the 60-minute yoga and pilates classes – Sweat Studios are also offering free 15-minute 'Headspace' sessions every weekday lunchtime this week, to share simple techniques that help to calm feelings of stress and anxiety.

To participate in the online classes, download the free Zoom App to your smart device or sign up online and use the desktop site. Joining instructions are sent via email 20-minutes before class starts.
Classes can be booked up to a week in advance, and bookings can be made up to 30-minutes before a class begins. If there’s a need to cancel, you can do so up to an hour before with no penalty.
Sweat Studios owner Kirsty Lowe said: “During this period of change and uncertainty, we’re thrilled to be able to offer our virtual Yoga and Pilates classes far and wide. A simple booking and login system enables anyone with internet to join in, teamed with one-off pricing which gives people the flexibility they need at this time.
"We are delighted that the live-streamed classes have been so popular, and we’re now in the process of developing our online offerings further to help those at home stay fit, health and happy.”
