This October, Milton Keynes Business Improvement District has teamed up with Milton Keynes Hospital Charity Cancer Appeal to run the city’s first ever static bike race to raise funds to help transform cancer care in MK and the surrounding area.
On Wednesday, October 3 get involved as a team of three and race on static bikes the distance from Station Square to Milton Keynes University Hospital, it’s only two miles!
Battle it out with friends, family or work colleagues to complete the distance in the fastest time, with prizes on offer for the winners.
It is £150 to enter per team with all entry fees and any additional sponsorship raised going directly to the charity, thanks to Bannatyne Heath Club and Spa MK, who are providing all the static bikes at the event.
The charity is aiming to raise £2.5 million for a new dedicated Cancer Centre at Milton Keynes University Hospital. The centre itself is costing £15 million and will transform the experience of cancer patients and their families from Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Find out more at www.mkhcharity.org.uk
