Milton Keynes Museum will be taking visitors back to the days of fairground fun with the return of its popular Organ Festival this October 8 & 9.
Organs were the soundtrack of the fairground, and the music making machines are still a thrill for those who remember the charming machines from their youth.
Visitors will be able to hear the historic organs playing just as they used to while youngsters would have soaked up all the fun of the fair with its toffee apples, hoopla and thrilling rides.
The Emmett Organ will be on display and Kevin McElhone, who is an expert on the music machines which are always on display in the Farmhouse, will be on hand to demonstrate examples from his collection and answer any questions.

All the other usual exhibits will be open, and standard admission prices apply – which will also give you FREE entry for the following 12 months; adults £12, child £8, retired & unwaged £10.
A family ticket (admitting two adults and up to four children) is £36.
