Writers and artists of Milton Keynes will see their work published for the first time at Milton Keynes Literary Festival when a new zine is launched on Friday (September 21).
MinK, a literary zine, will exhibit the work of 34 local writers and artists whose work was chosen from the many entries submitted earlier this year.
Six lucky contributors have been invited to read their work at the MK Lit Fest launch party, headlined by renowned spoken-word poet, Lemn Sissay.
MinK has been designed by local artist Tom Cuthbertson, who has created a truly unique look to this new venture with every one of the 44 pages including original design elements.
At just £5 per copy, it is something to savour and keep.
There is a limited print run, so those interested in getting hold of a copy should make haste.
Copies of MinK will be on sale at the Milton Keynes Literary Festival box office at the Holiday Inn, Saxon Gate between September 21st and 24th.
The zine was partially funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign which raised more than £500.
