MK MUSEUM CELEBRATES A RECORD BREAKING SEASON

Visitor numbers at MK Museum have soared over the past 12 months, with nearly 30,000 visitors checking out our rich history.

Goldfield Infants' School from Tring were the last visitors of the museum's 2014/15 year, and were rewarded with free tickets for a return visit, presented by the museum's deputy director Kate Ayres.

Our numbers are increasing year on year, but this year's rise in visitors – from just over 25,000 to 30,000 is incredible,” museum director Bill Griffiths said.

We wanted to say thank you to all our visitors for helping to make this happen so we decided the last visitors of our trading year would all get free tickets to come and see us again.

As the largest museum in the country to be run almost entirely by volunteers, this success is down to the efforts of our wonderful team,” Bill added.

We have volunteers aged from 14 to 80 giving their time and enthusiasm to make sure our visitors have a really special time.”
