Musica Charity Choir MK will play the first choral concert in the new MK Gallery Sky Room at 7pm tonight (December 4).
The choir (pictured above at a recent event with the Mayor of Milton Keynes) will perform a selection of Christmas favourites to help raise funds for Art and Us – MK Gallery’s programme of artist led activities for families with children with complex needs.
The Sky Room is a state of the art 150 seater auditorium, sitting on the second floor of MK Gallery with views across Campbell Park. As well as the performance, there will also be a raffle.
The choir, led by Ken Story and accompanied by Ed Tomlinson, started performing in December 2018 to support charities and voluntary groups to raise funds. They present thirteen concerts a year and have so far raised over £9,000 for charities across the city.
