Castlethorpe Open Gardens returns this weekend (June 20 & 21), with the promise that visitors will be greeted by a beautiful spectrum of colour and diversity.
The bi-annual event is a tradition now, attracting visitors not only from the locality, but also from hundreds of miles away.
Tour the gardens and meet those responsible for cultivating the clever spaces, and put your questions to those green-fingered aces responsible.
Plants will also be for sale at several of the gardens.
Wurzel won't be there, but there will still be plenty of other straw folks for you to follow on the Scarecrow Trail, and when you've worked up a hunger, visit the Village Hall for a coffee, ploughmans lunch, or if you dare to be a little bit naughty, opt for a cream tea.
Tickets cover both days and cost £5 for adults, £2 for children, or take a family ticket for £12.
Purchase from the car park adjacent to Castle Field, from the Village Hall or the Open Gardens themselves.
