Milton Keynes Philatelic Society is inviting stamp collectors to attend its Valuation Day on Saturday (September 10) at the Methodist Hall, Queensway, in Bletchley.
Apex Auctions will once again be on hand to cast their knowledgeable eye over your first and second class issues.
“After the success of last year's Valuation Day, we are delighted that Colin Avery, auction manager has offered to return.
“Last year was such a busy day, with several times the usual number of people visiting the fair, and many of us finally getting an answer on the mysterious stamp we'd had for years,” said fair organiser Karen Goodger.
“We also helped many families who had inherited a collection, and local charities benefitted from items donated to our Charity Stamp Auction.”
Now is the time to reach for that long lost collection gathering dust in the loft, or those old First Day Cover stacked in a shoebox.
You need to get sorted in advance of the day though, as appointments, free as they are, do need to be booked.
