Fans of Sir Tom Jones are expected to assemble at Calcutta Brasserie for a performance by renowned tribute act Billy Lee on Wednesday 25th July.
Billy is regarded as Europe’s best Tom Jones impersonator and has appeared on TV numerous times since his debut on ITV’s Stars In Their Eyes. Recently he was featured on national news coverage of his performance at the Labour party conference.
The restaurant recently won the Best Asian Restaurant award at the prestigious MK Food and Leisure Awards and a choice of curry meals from the menu will be included in the £24.95 ticket price.
Calcutta Brasserie General Manager Ali Ajmol said: “Our customers told us they wanted to see Tom Jones so we auditioned lots of tributes before we found one who we think is incredible. It’s going to be a great night.”
Billy Lee has won praise for the accuracy of his performance and effortlessly recreates the vocals and stage presence of Sir Tom Jones. He has even been asked to provide ‘demo’ vocals on behalf of Tom Jones for test recordings.
Diners can expect to hear all of Tom’s hits including It's Not Unusual, Kiss, Delilah and Sexbomb.
