STEP INSIDE, INVITE FRIENDS OF ST LAWRENCE CHURCH

If you've not already done so, there is another opportunity to pop inside Broughton's Church, St Lawrence, this Sunday (August 10). Friends of St Lawrence will welcome you between 11am and 4pm to take a look around the holy house that has been at the heart of the community for almost 700 years. The church has some incredibly rare and decidedly magnificent medieval wall paintings which are well worth taking the time to view, and give us a direct link to our centuries past. Tours of the church will be available and a 'bring and share' village picnic will start at midday.
