Traditionally, January is a pretty bleak month - you've overspent during the Christmas thing, so you have to go steady on the finances, the rubbish is bleak and we have this extra pressure to stick to; New Year Resolutions.
But there is a chink of light for the taking - a chance to swap the bleak for the wordy brilliant, thanks to the return of the annual Stony Words celebrations.
Stony Words is a fortnight of poetry, drama, film, music and literature which explores how we can communicate using different media, and there's another cracking line-up ready for you this time around, with something on the menu of plenty to suit everyone.
As the organisers themselves say, 'Be enlightened, informed and entertained in the dark days of Winter.'
