Popworld, on Lower 12th Street in Milton Keynes, is hosting a Pink Party to raise money for the breast cancer awareness charity, Coppafeel! on Friday (November 15).
The much-loved party venue will be kitted out in all things pink for the event, as they fundraise for the charity that encourages both men and women to regularly check their breasts for symptoms of the disease.
Popworld has committed to donating £5 from every ticket sold, which are available from the bar’s website, as well as organising party games and a dance and selfie competition, to help bolster funds. There will also be on-the-spot prizes up for grabs during the evening.

One of the bar’s popular resident DJs will be treating customers to his selection of party hits throughout the night, with an emphasis on the most iconic girl bands tunes.
For a small donation, customers can get involved in the selection process, picking their own anthems to dance the night away to.
Jamie Hogwood, General Manager of Popworld Milton Keynes and organiser of the event, said: “We all need to be more aware of the signs and symptoms of cancer, and Coppafeel! is a charity that really makes us think about that kind of thing. We hope our Pink Party will raise just as much awareness as it does money, and we can all do our bit for the Coppafeel! cause.
“We’ve got everything from pink drapes, to pink balloons and glitter stars to kit out the bar – it’s going to look fantastic! Keep an eye out for me and the team on the night too, because we’ll all be sporting our finest pink outfits as well. So, to all our wonderful customers, get into your pink and come and join the party!”
The event will run from 9pm to 3.30am.
