The North Bucks branch of the RSPCA celebrated a record breaking year of rehoming in 2015 – with 756 cats, and 66 rabbits and guinea pigs being given a second chance at happiness.
But so long as there are animals in need, the work will continue and it's thanks to the small army of animal co-ordinators, feeders, fosterers, volunteers and the staff manning the charity shops locally that so many animals are able to find their fur-ever homes.
To say 'thank you' to those who help to make the difference, the RSPCA is hosting a special afternoon tea this Sunday afternoon (April 3) and extends the welcome to those of you who want to know more about volunteering, to pop along and find out more.
The event is being held at Great Linford Memorial Hall between 2pm and 4pm.
Staff will be on hand to advise and answer your questions.
