Exercise – you know you should do more, but heck, it feels like such a chore, right?
But it needn't any longer. A new fitness class launching this week at Stantonbury Leisure Centre will make keeping fit feel more like a night out than a workout!
You'll be following easy fitness routines while using rave glow sticks as you move to club anthems from 90s classics to the latest chart hits.
But wait, you feel too conspicuous to jiggle and wiggle in a clinical well-lit space.
Lucky this session is hosted in a darkened room with disco lights, then!
Organisers promise the routines are easy-to-follow and there are always high and low impact options available.
“It's all about fun, not about perfection,” they say, “Take it to your level, keep it simple and enjoy the music.”
Stepping in to a Clubbercise session means you'll tone your muscles, and burn around 500 calories an hour while having fun.
Not sure if it's for you? We reckon it sounds fab, but you can try before you buy, so to speak – the first session is free.
Clubbercise will run every Thursday starting this week (Jan 21), from 6.30pm.
