It's time to stop singing in the shower and let your voice loose, and we know the perfect way; by signing up for a Triple T – a Tempting Taster Term with the Danesborough Chorus.
“If you like to sing, what better way to enjoy it than to join a choir and sing wonderful classical music with other like-minded people,” choir chairman Amanda Nott said.
“Rehearsals start again in September for our next concert – a performance of Vaughan Williams' Sea Symphony in November at Milton Keynes Theatre.
“So why not come along, aim for those soaring top notes, and enjoy the camaraderie of choral singing?”
The chorus certainly has staying power – and only recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Rehearsals are held weekly at Aspley Guise Village Hall, on Wednesday evening's and the taster term runs for three months from mid-September.
There is no need to attend every session, and you don't even need to perform in November's concert, there's no pressure.
But Amanda insists you should take the first step and get involved: “There's nothing quite as rewarding as singing, and it's good for your health too,” she said.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone who hasn't sung in a while or is new to choral singing and not yet confident about joining this type of choir.
Signing up for the three month session with the Danesborough Chorus costs a paltry £10. Another reason to break into song, we'd have thought!
