Verdi's opera La Traviata is being put to the stage this week, by Winslow Hall Opera.
British conductor Oliver Gilmour, who took the baton for the 2014 season of opera at the venue, will return with his orchestra for the performances, starting on Wednesday (July 8).
Gilmour is a Verdi aficionado and has pieced together an absolutely wonderful cast for your enjoyment.
Greek-Australian soprano Elena Xanthoudakis will star as Violetta, with Argentine tenor Pablo Bemsch in the role of Alfredo.
Audiences from last year's season will remember Elena and Pablo from their roles in Lucia di Lammermoor.
English baritone Quentin Hayes will take the role of Giorgio Germont.
Winslow Hall - built by Sir Christopher Wren - will host performances through to Sunday, July 19.
