A powerful performance of dance, drama, poetry, music and film will commemorate the WWI centenary and celebrate the culmination of the mammoth Great War MK Remembered project.
The project has been a long time in the planning and development, and brings together a patchwork of creative responses to an event as much about commemoration as reflection.
Ticket-holders at Friday's (Nov 6) show can prepare to enjoy dramatic drama with Pepper's Ghost Theatre Company, breath-taking choreography with dancers from Shenley Retirement Village and Initiate Youth Dance Company.
Animations made by children working with Independent Cinema MK will also figure, and upon arrival you'll be greeted by Festive Road's super replica WWI tank which has made quite the impression around town over summer.
Musicians including singer-songwriter Manny Ademoulu will also perform for you.
“This project has been great,” he said, “...it has challenged my skills as a songwriter to create a new piece of work that conveys a matter that still affects us to date.
“And working with a passionate and talented group of musicians is a constant reminder of the beauty and power that music holds.”
Full House have produced the show which will go live at The Venue MK, Walton High.
Show time is 7.30pm and tickets are on sale at just £3 each.
A family of four can be seated for £10.
Euan Henderson, Chair of the Arts Heritage Association MK, said: 'This is the culmination of two years' planning, researching, creating and delivering new ways of looking at the First World War 100 years ago as experienced in the area now transformed by the Metropolitan Borough and New City of Milton Keynes.”
