MK FILM-MAKERS PREPARE THE RELEASE OF 'TRULY TERRIFYING' EIDOLON

A pair of Milton Keynes filmmakers will causing the heebie-jeebies with their supernatural thriller Eidolon, and the short film stars a couple of faces more at home on the musical scene.

Dave Moyle and Mark Row had worked together previously, and when the former came up with this story, Mark swiftly put pen to paper and responded with a taut script.

It was game on. The synopsis? Here you go.

When Neal is attacked by a couple of small time criminals, he won't rest until scores have been settled...'

Heading up the cast is leading lady Ella Dvornik. The daughter of Croatia's late Godfather of Funk, Dino Dvornik, is also a singer by trade, and acts for the first time in an English speaking role in Eidolon, joining former professional boxer Colin Vidler in the casting. Also on board is rising rapper K2 World, whose recent collaboration with Tinchy Stryder will appear on the soundtrack to Eidolon.

Eidolon is truly terrifying, and once he is following you, there is no escape!

MPMG Eidolon

The film plays with the audience’s expectations and will keep you guessing, but it’s not for the faint hearted,” Mark told Total MK.

It’s already looking great but we need some support to add those spooky final touches, and make sure it gets seen by as wide an audience as possible.”

Filming finished at the tail end of last year but the fellas are looking for you to shake loose a few pennies or pounds and support the next stage of the project, and allow the team to apply to the film festival on the circuit.

The initial few hundred quid the duo were hoping to raise has been exceeded, but the more they raise, the further they can promote the work, so you can still hop onboard.

There are some tempting treats in store over at their Kickstarter page for those of you willing to lay your cash on the table, and with pledges starting at two quid, it's not really a question of whether you can afford to be involved, but whether you can afford not to be involved.

Hurry though, there's not long to go; the Kickstarter campaign closes this weekend.
