Brewhouse and Kitchen launch the nation's first Veteran Brew Day in Milton Keynes

Brewpub group Brewhouse and Kitchen is launching the nation’s first Veteran Brew Day on October 5.

Marking the centenary of the end of World War One, the event will pay homage to the service men and women that fought for their country.

Veterans, service people, and anyone with a connection to the armed forces wil be invited to help brew a commemorative beer with them!

Anyone who is connected with our Armed Forces is eligible for the free event.

On November 8, the pubs will present their veteran-made beer by hosting a tapping party.

Everyone is invited to come and see the Veteran brewed beer being ‘tapped’ and to enjoy some free tasters. The beer will be available during November and most notably in for the centenary celebrations on November 11 – Armistice Day.

Gail Bunn, marketing manager of Brewhouse and Kitchen said: “We wanted to play our part in the centenary celebrations, and what better way than to brew a unique beer for this once in a lifetime event. We hope it brings communities, veterans, and those with a connection to our armed forces together to remember and celebrate this particularly special Armistice Day.”

In order to partake simply drop an email to sales@brewhouseandkitchen.com or get in contact with the Milton Keynes Brewhouse & Kitchen.

A donation from each pint sold of Veteran Brew will be donated to the pub’s chosen Veteran charity
