Prepare for your tastebuds to be tickled at the second Food & Fun Day in Milton Keynes later this month

Milton Keynes residents flocked to the first Food & Fun Day at Wyvern School in July – with more than 2,500 people showing their support at the tasty event.

It proved such a lip-licking success that organisers Urban Grilla have cooked up another date at the school on Sunday, November 20.

Once again it will be shining a light on local producers and vendors, and this time there will be a fes- tive feel too.
Spice up your weekend by tucking into a tasty curry courtesy of Saf ’s Kitchen, or get ‘a pizza the ac- tion’ direct from the Little Oven of Joy.

Sizzlers will have gourmet burgers, and Mexican food will be served over at the Taco Shack.
If a hearty pie and mash is more to your taste Mr & Mrs Fitz will deliver, and the best cheese toasties for miles around will be ready to devour at the Good Times Cafe.
I Am Dumpling will have dim sum delights, and Urban Grilla’s BBQ will come with a seasonal twist!

Various non-food stalls will also be offering goods, and Milton Keynes-based Lee’s Reptiles will be giving you the opportunity to get up close to some unusual creatures. Father Christmas is stopping by too!

“We feel it is important for local schools to be at the hub of their community and try really hard to make this a family friendly day, while also raising funds for the school,” said organiser Zena Zenon- os-Walker.
“We have children and know how expensive a day out can be, so we want to welcome everyone here – entry is free.

“With its award-winning producers, Wolverton is at the heart of Milton Keynes’s emerging culinary and artisan businesses. We think this is a great way to sample the many delights on offer and we’ve got Santa coming too!”
