BRASS, BEATS AND BASS WITH THE HACKNEY COLLIERY BAND AT BEDFORD ESQUIRES

The Hackney Colliery Band,  one-time collaborators with Amy Winehouse, go live at Bedford Esquires this Friday night (May 27).

The band released critically acclaimed debut album Common Decency in 2013, and mix up their live sets between original compositions and their own take on other artists songs, including their infamous 'Prodigy Medley'.

Perhaps you are seeking something a little different, or are bored of heading out to see new bands promising fresh sounds only to return home feeling ripped off.

This 9-piece collective are your antidote to the bland side.

They have backed some of the world's finest, as well as selling out shows across the world in their own right, and they had a hand in closing the 2012 London Olympics.

They say they play contemporary brass rock, hip-hop, Balkan, afro-beat, jazz music...

Expect brass, beats and bass!

Doors open at 8pm and tickets are £13 advance.
