Download Festival: 'We'll give the crowd a good taste of what we're about' promise main stage attraction Inglorious

They've been hailed as the 'future of British' rock and they are living up to expectations - On June 12 Inglorious return to the Download Festival, and this time they are taking on the main stage.

With two albums down, 2016's self-titled, and 2017s follow-up, Inglorious II the band are currently putting heads together for release number three.
But they are taking time out for select festival dates.

Bassist Colin Parkinson shared more...

How special is it to be playing at Download - the British home of rock and metal?
It's pretty insane actually when you think of who has played this amazing festival over the years... we were the second band on the second or third stage a couple of years ago, and this year we're on the main stage. It's going to be a very special show for us.

What can the Download faithful expect from your set?
A high energy set and maybe a new track...we'll see! We're on for around 30-40 minutes so we want to keep it punchy and give the crowd a good taste of what we're about!

How will you spend the rest of your time on the site?
I like getting out to see the bands and meet fans and people who saw us. Also, Thrice are playing so I'd like to catch them. I think we may have interviews and all that to do as well...and I'm sure we'll have a few bevvies!

Anyone else on the bill you'll be keen to check out?
Thrice, Meshuggah, Ozzy, our friends Wayward Sons and a few others

What three festival essentials should Download ticket-holders be sure to pack before heading to the site?
Wellies - 2016 was muddy!
A smile - it helps
A bumbag - it's practical

And festivals aside, what's going on with Inglorious in 2018?
We're writing the next album at the moment, and so the next few months are dedicated to recording, mixing, artwork, videos, photoshoots etc for that.
We're also working on some possible dates in other parts of the world but nothing's confirmed for that yet, so I can't say. There's lots of planning at the moment, so we'll see what happens!
