GIG OF THE WEEK: PROPERSTOCK RETURNS TO BRADWELL ABBEY

The fourth annual Properstock!  will turn the usually tranquil surroundings of Bradwell Abbey into a marvellous musical feast this Saturday (July 19). Organisers have promised us 'musical diversity, local talent and downright shenanigans, ' and when we checked in for details, so it seemed to be...and the sounds will come by the bucketload at this bash. In 2014 the event is being swelled by the addition of two more stages, bringing the total to six, with a ridiculously long line-up of talent making noises for you. "We are proud to have extended our network this time around, and have combined our skills with The Craufurd Arms, Sick in the Head promotions and Surface Potential, adding these fine music services to our already stellar working team," explained Ben Platt. And if you think things are going with a bang this time around, you ain't seen nothing yet:"It's not secret that the next phase for ProperStock! will be a weekend festival with camping, plans are starting to fall into place, and we'll announce when we can...but for now, let's get together and celebrate local music, businesses and each other!" he added.
