Milton Keynes' Naked Next Door release debut single today

Milton Keynes based Naked Next Door recently inked their first record deal with new London based indie Honest Records, and have completed work on their debut five track e.p with in demand producer Joe Garrett.

Now it's time to check in with the fruits of their labours - the first single, Fade, is out today.

"The song is about a mixture of things," says front man Euan Emerton, "Feeling like you spend the day stressing out and trying to do the right thing at the right time, all of the time, the song describes the way you feel when you forget it all and stop caring about whether it’s the right decision.

"You don’t think about it and you do it anyway because sometimes it gets too much. The song to us in a few words is that deep breath out at the end of the worst day."

And why was Fade picked as the first musical moment to cut loose?

"... in the hope that it would relate to a lot of people our age feeling the same way, going out a lot and not caring for a night - knowing it’s the wrong decision but doing it anyway because it’s easier.

Euan added: "We also felt the song was right because the chorus is catchy and could maybe one day be a song that’s sung  on one of those nights out."

Fade is available through Amazon Music, Google Play music, Spotify and Applemusic
