Rising blues band The Cinelli Brothers play Milton Keynes this evening

The Cinelli Brothers are one of the hottest rising blues bands on the UK blues scene and wowing audiences wherever they play - and tonight (Thursday) that happens to be at The Stables in Milton Keynes.

The band were born out of a passion for the electric Chicago and Texas blues from the ’60s and ’70s.

Marco Cinelli (guitarist, singer, composer) and his brother Alessandro Cinelli (drummer, singer) decided to form an explosive team at the service of an original repertoire in the style of Chess, Stax and Motown.

So after countless shows in Paris, all over France and London, the Cinelli Brothers band was formed and they recorded their first vinyl record "Babe Please Set Your Alarm" in the Soup Studio in London.

This album comprises original compositions as well as covers such as ‘Chain of Fools’, or ‘Back Door Man’ – which stays true to Willie Dixon’s number, as well as Prince’s ‘Kiss’, in a remarkable shuffle rhythm.

The Cinelli Brothers: a new generation of passionate musicians of blues, soul, rhythm and blues and true lovers of the authentic sounds that have made the history of the blues and definitely a band not to miss.
