ROD PICOTT READY TO SHARE HIS GOOD FORTUNE WITH YOU

Rod Picott has spent the past couple of weeks touring these Isles, and the Nashville-based singer-songwriter plays his musical wares at Tingewick Village Hall on Friday night (Jan 29).

The road-trek is in support of this month's album release Fortune, his seventh solo episode.

It was recorded quickly too, its creator keen to deliver a work that was a raw, authentic document of his live show.

I wanted to make a record where we captured performances, as opposed to imitating performances,” he explained.

Technology makes it so easy to do an imitation of what your best performance would sound like, but that's not real performance. I didn't want to do that.

"For better or worse, Fortune is what I actually sound like.”

Doors open at 7.30pm and support is coming from Jess Morgan.
